After some intense masking I am pretty happy with the way the quartering on the tanks came out. When I black out the tanks for the metallics and weathering I purposely add a little paint wear with the basic black. I will now go in and sponge on some additional wear and tear. I have just received my set of weathering powders from FW and I am looking forward to testing them out on these vehicles.
The trick will be to add weathering but I want to keep them much cleaner in appearance than my IG tanks. In my mind the Marines are more for rapid insertion, whereas the IG are in for the long hauls. Nonetheless, since my theme is the long, grueling grind of the Badab Schism, the vehicles would have certainly bore the brunt of multiple engagement damage and wear. See you soon!
